Naresh Gunaratnam

Naresh is a gastroenterologist at Huron Gastro in Ann Arbor and is originally from Sri Lanka. He has been involved with Grace Girls Home since 2003 and currently serves as Board President. He is married to Dr. Aruna Sarma and they have two children, Nikhil & Sejal. The whole family has been volunteering annually at the children’s home since 2010 and has found the experience to be extremely rewarding. Naresh is committed to optimizing educational and vocational training opportunities for the children so they can be happy and self sufficient when they leave the orphanage. His goal is to provide the children at Grace the same opportunities for achievement that are available for his own children.

Scott currently serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of American Eagle Lifecare Corporation, a not-for-profit provider of senior living services to the elderly. A veteran of the healthcare industry with over 25 years of experience deploying capital in healthcare real estate, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge in corporate finance, cash management and business development to the organization. Scott has an AB in political science, graduating magna cum laude, as well as a JD from the University of Michigan Law School.

Bruce is a Branch Manager, Registered Investment Advisory Representative and a Registered Securities Principal with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. He began his career in the financial services industry more than 30 years ago and directly manages investment accounts for individual and corporate clients. Bruce specializes in individual retirement income planning, college planning, and retirement plans for small to mid-size companies and also works with non-profit, university and government retirement plans. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Bruce is a father to three adult children and a King Charles Cavalier puppy, Scout, and grandfather to 2 grandsons. An active member of Rotary, Bruce has been involved in many other civic, church and school organizations. He enjoys family events, flying, traveling, playing the piano, and golfing.

Vikki graduated from the University of Michigan and is a Register Nurse and Certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She founded ‘My Wellness Nurse’ in 2011 and is an advocate for health and wellness. Vikki is actively involved with the girls at Grace and looks forward to her visits with them.

She is also a certified Civil Mediator. Julie earned her J.D. at Wayne State University and is a member of the Michigan State Bar, Washtenaw County Bar Association and National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. An active community member, Julie is a charter member of the Ann Arbor West Rotary and likes to travel and read in her spare time.

Currently a Strategy, Planning & Operations leader in Cisco System’s WW Sales Enablement organization, Ami has 16 years experience working within the partner, sales, customer advocacy & services organizations to drive accelerated growth and improved productivity. She is deeply involved in professional and personal associations both within and outside Cisco, serving as the Women of Impact Americas 2016 leader and board leader for Connected Women with the purpose of supporting, developing and mentoring girls in technology. Ami also served as the President of a cultural organization in Michigan, with the purpose of providing children and families an opportunity to connect, network & participate in cultural & community service projects.
